A commissioned painting is not a reproduction of any original. It is an original, one-of-a-kind new painting. That means a new painting will always be slightly different in shapes and hues — never identical, especially in abstract expressionist work. Every painting is one of a kind.
If you are interested in a commission or in framing, I will provide options and pricing. Processing time for custom orders is normally 4–8 weeks.
Commissions can be large: one past commission, a painting of the Channel Islands, measured 37 × 103 inches. Read about it in the studio journal.
Good to know
- Custom orders and made-to-order works are not refundable.
- All paintings are original and hand-signed on the back by the artist.
- Shipped carefully packed by USPS or FedEx, with tracking. Please give a street address, not a PO box.
- International collectors: please email first so shipping can be calculated.
